Tropical Smoothie Bowl

Just because summer is technically winding down doesn’t mean the sunshine has to disappear from your plate! This tropical smoothie bowl is like a little taste of paradise, blending juicy mango, pineapple, and banana for a refreshing burst of troppo flavour.  Coconut cream and soy milk ensure a velvety smooth texture, while a squeeze of lime adds a zesty zing. A touch of turmeric boosts both the golden glow and the health benefits. There’s something about a tropical smoothie bowl that instantly transports you—whether it’s back to lazy beach days, barefoot mornings, or that first sip of a holiday cocktail. It’s the perfect way to brighten up an autumn morning or bring a little warmth to a grey afternoon. Soak up those tropical vibes and keep those aloha feelings alive just a little longer…

 

Nutrition Bite:

Pineapple – Pineapple is bursting with vitamin C and bromelain, a unique enzyme that aids digestion and reduces inflammation. It’s hydrating, sweet, and a natural way to give your immune system a tropical boost.

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana
1 cup  of frozen mango
1 cup frozen pineapple
1/4 cup Coconut cream
1/4 cup soy milk
2 teaspoons of lime juice
¼ teaspoon of turmeric (optional – adds to the health benefits and golden orange glow!)

Optional toppings: Chopped mango and pineapple, edible flowers, coconut chips, fresh mint, chia seeds, fresh strawberries

 

Method:

Blend all of the ingredients in a high-powered blender until smooth. Pour into bowls, and top with your favourite toppings (suggestions above!) Enjoy!
