If you’ve never made your own nut milk before, this is the one to start with as it’s super-straightforward and doesn’t need straining like almond milk does!  It’s unbelievably creamy, naturally sweetened with dates, and has that soft hint of vanilla and cinnamon that makes everything feel a little bit more comforting. I love pouring this over warm oats in the morning or blending it into smoothies for the kids—it’s such a lovely alternative to store-bought options, and you know exactly what’s going into it. Just the good stuff. All you need is a handful of wholesome ingredients, a blender, and a couple of minutes, and you’re good to go.

Nutrition Bite

Raw cashews are plant-based powerhouse, rich in heart-healthy fats and minerals like magnesium and copper. These nutrients support strong bones, glowing skin, and steady energy levels. Blended, they make for the creamiest milk to kick-start your day.

Ingredients

2 Medjool dates, pitted

1 pinch of salt

3 tsp of vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon

1 cup of raw cashews, soaked overnight in water

4 cups of water

Directions

  1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews
  2. Place all ingredients into a high-powered blender and blend until smooth (approximately 90 seconds)
  3. Pour into a storage jug or glass jar, and store in the fridge for up to 4 days
  4. Enjoy!
