Cleaning Your Washing Machine

Most of us take our washing machine for granted, believing that washing clothes is enough to keep it clean. You will be shocked to see what your washing machine harbours under agitators and in filters. These are easy to undo and clean or try this instead for a solution to keep you washing machine clean and fresh.

Ingredients:

White Vinegar

Directions:

1. Clean the rubber door seal with DYC White Vinegar to kill mould.
2. For front loaders, clean the soap dispenser with DYC White Vinegar. For top loading machines dismantle the agitator (following manufacturer’s instructions) and clean these with DYC White Vinegar. Reassemble.
3. Pour 1 cup of DYC White Vinegar into the soap dispenser. Run the machine on a hot wash without any laundry detergent. This will clean inaccessible parts.
