It’s so simple to make you can’t go wrong. Just add water and cook for an hour or until tender.

The soup mixes are extremely versatile – you can enjoy them on their own or use them as a base. Fresh seasonal produce makes a nice addition, or you can add produce that’s lurking in your fridge that looks past its best. It’s also a great way to use up leftovers or homegrown produce. For meat lovers add in favourites like a ham hock or meat on the bone which adds so much flavour!

If you are short on time, have you tried making King soup in the slow cooker? Super quick to prepare, the slow cooker does the work for you, so you can get on with your day and return home to a large pot of home-cooked soup.

Each pack makes over 2 litres of soup, so there is plenty for everyone. You will find that the flavour is even better the day after you make it. And did we mention that you can freeze King soup?

King soup mixes also make the perfect base for casseroles and meals (think nacho’s, enchiladas, and chicken casseroles). For recipe ideas visit King Soup.

Cook on LOW setting for 3.5 – 4 hours, or until the vegetables are tender.

Note: if you can’t use boiling water in your slow cooker, add warm water and cook for 4 ½ – 7 hours on HIGH
