Many New Zealanders want to retain their wellness and lifestyle long into their twilight years, but sometimes lack the support to do so.
That’s where community pharmacies can now lend a hand, with the launch of a new service designed to help you maintain a full and independent life.
TAILORED PHARMACY ASSISTANCESelected pharmacies throughout the country are now offering a tailored pharmacy service called the ‘Supporting Independent Living’ Programme.
The programme helps you maintain your general health and wellbeing while living in your own home, and offers personalised advice and support to suit your particular needs.
THE ‘SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT LIVING’ PROGRAMMEKey to the programme is a personal consultation with your pharmacist to discuss your medicine management and any concerns. This can take place in a private pharmacy room or in your home.
